This report details the accomplishments of numerous projects in the Coastal Impact Assistance Program (CIAP). The report documents results of the CIAP program initiated through the Energy Policy Act of 2005 to assist states affected by offshore oil and gas development.  Projects were executed in states of Alabama, Alaska, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas for needed coastal environmental restoration and enhancements. The nearly $1 billion CIAP program is managed by the US Fish and Wildlife Service, with a total of 769 grants awarded. The EFD report highlights many benefits of revenue sharing realized through CIAP, along with a number of recommendations to improve similar programs in the future.
