The EFD hosted Electrification for the Oil & Gas Operations Workshop on October 22, 2015.

Together with our partners in industry and academia, EFD is working to find ways to convert gas that would otherwise be flared into electric power for oilfield operations. New technologies are being developed to drive drilling and fracturing with increased efficiency, fewer emissions and opportunities to integrate automation.
